Underworld Botanicals - Herbs to Contact and Honor Your Ancestors
As we enter the dark half of the year, transitioning from Summer to Autumn, we enter a liminal space - a time between seasons, where plants die back, trees go dormant, Persephone returns to the Underworld and many of us are moved to communicate with and honor those who have gone before us.
In this class we will discuss several herbs that were historically used in communicating with the dead, their folklore and mythology as well as how to use these plants to honor and/or contact the ancestors.
