Kitchen Herbalism In-Person
Kitchen Herbalism: – Herbalism can seem daunting and inaccessible when you begin to think about plant identification, foraging and stocking a home apothecary with exotic herbs and spices. Good news(!), it doesn’t have to be scary. Chances are, you already have an extensive herbal apothecary at your fingertips in your kitchen cupboard and spice rack. In this class, herbalists Lisa Harris and Nicki Schneider of Earth.Wisdom.Wellness. will guide you through an assortment of common kitchen herbs and spices along with the basic tools needed to create your own herbal remedies at home. Participants will have the opportunity to sample some of the remedies covered in class as well as receive a handout with recipes and an herb list.
