Know Your Rights: Employment In-Person

Legal Aid attorney(s) will discuss how individuals can better understand their rights regarding their place of employment.  This will include information on at-will employment, how laws apply to employees versus independent contractors, unemployment compensation, workplace discrimination, unsafe workplaces, wage and hour theft, and how to address barriers to employment created by a criminal record.  Individuals hoping to better protect themselves and their rights in the workplace are invited to join us for this important conversation!
