A Quarry Story: The Amherst Quarry In-Person
The Amherst Quarry Story is about the history and the importance of the Sandstone Quarries in Amherst and the surrounding area. This program will include the start of the quarries in the 1800s, information on how P.O.W.s during WWII worked in the quarries in Amherst, the impact that Amherst sandstone had on the region and world, and more!
